Dragon Asian Supermarket
About This Spot
Stepping into Dragon Asian Supermarket feels like entering a thoughtfully curated corner of the world where everyday groceries become an invitation to adventure. The aisles are abundant and lively, each shelf stocked with familiar staples alongside ingredients and flavors that hint at stories beyond Jacksonville’s borders. There's a quiet rhythm here, a steady hum of discovery that draws you gently from section to section — from fresh produce that seems to promise a bright stir-fry, to shelves brimming with noodles, sauces, and spices that invite experimentation.
The atmosphere unfolds with the easy pace of a neighborhood market where the focus is on connection rather than rush. Staff members move attentively among the crowds, often ready with suggestions or a helping hand, making the experience feel personal and sincere. This isn’t just a place to collect groceries; it’s a place to engage with culinary traditions, whether through the subtle fragrance of roasted pork or the tidy display of fresh fish, which is cleaned and prepared on the spot.
Dragon Asian Supermarket’s strength lies in the breadth of its offerings, where everyday ingredients sit comfortably alongside rarer items—the kind that spark curiosity and encourage you to try something new. The produce is fresh and inviting, the seafood carefully handled, and the aisles of dry goods reveal an impressive variety that satisfies both practical weekly shopping and those moments when you want to experiment with bold flavors from across Asia.
Visitors often find themselves wandering past well-stocked frozen sections and a small bakery counter filled with ready-to-go treats that carry the warmth of home cooking. Weekends bring special touches, like crispy pork freshly prepared, adding a layer of anticipation and delight for those who time their visits just right.
For those who value the discovery of authentic ingredients with a local touch, Dragon Asian Supermarket offers more than products—it offers a quietly vibrant atmosphere where food means connection, and shopping becomes a gentle exploration of texture, taste, and tradition.

The two things I wanted, Assam Black Tea and Chocolate Pillows. Overall, the store was amazing. I took some panorama pics to show the extent of noodle, grain and sauces the store sells.

A 1st at this place. Knot disappointed at all. I look for oddities which ya can’t find in your average supermarket. I like this place better than R & N International market. It’s worth a stop !

I love coming to the Asian grocery store! The price and selection is wonderful and the staff is so helpful. They have a great produce section with lots of fresh fruit and greens, a very nice seafood and meat selection with roast duck and pork and a bakery with cooked foods to go. The dry goods and frozen food sections are also excellent.

I highly recommend this supermarket as the owners are also the owner of Bowl of Pho, an award-winning Vietnamese restaurant. They sell lots of high-quality ingredients to cook authentic Vietnamese food at home. People here are friendly and always busy.
